Who we are
Wild Springs Therapy is an occupational therapy practice run by Hayley Littlejohns, operating from Healthy Bodies Wellness at 5 Oceanic Drive, Mermaid Waters QLD 4218. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing our services, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
Through this website: if you use the enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), and your message. That is all the form collects, and we ask that you do not include health information in it.
When you become a client: we collect the information needed to provide occupational therapy safely and lawfully. This can include contact details, health and developmental history, NDIS plan details, and session records. Health information is sensitive information under Australian privacy law, and we treat it that way.
Bookings made online run through Cliniko, the practice management system used by Healthy Bodies Wellness. Information you provide when booking is handled within that system and covered by its own safeguards.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, to provide occupational therapy services, to manage appointments and invoicing (including with your plan manager, if you have one), and to meet our professional record-keeping obligations as an AHPRA-registered practice.
What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anyone for marketing. We only disclose personal information with your consent (for example, to your plan manager, GP, or school when we have agreed to work together), or where the law requires it.
How we store it
Enquiry form submissions are delivered to our practice email and are not stored on this website. Clinical records are kept securely within our practice management system and retained for the periods required for health records in Queensland. We take reasonable steps to protect all personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.
Analytics
This website may use basic analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site, for example, which pages are read most. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask questions about how it is handled. Email hayley@wildspringstherapy.com and we will get back to you promptly.
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information that we cannot resolve together, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
